A Welcome to Palm Valley entry monument at the east end of the Palm Valley Bridge will give the community a named civic threshold—live oaks, sabal palms, and magnolias framing a lasting marker for residents and visitors crossing the Intracoastal. Phase 1 focuses on site confirmation with local partners, concept design, and initial fundraising so construction can follow once funding and approvals are in place.
Confirm site & partners — Coordinate with county/local stakeholders on placement at the east end of the Palm Valley Bridge and any right-of-way or permitting needs.
Design the monument — Finalize materials, landscaping (oaks, sabals, magnolias), and the Welcome to Palm Valley lettering for a durable civic marker.
Build & dedicate — Construct the monument, install plantings, and host a simple community dedication when complete.
All donations are collected securely through GiveButter and directed to the project. Funds are used to cover materials, labor, equipment, and any community or educational resources needed to bring the project to life.
Any funds raised are still applied to the project. Depending on the total contributions, the project may be scaled, phased, or adjusted to fit available resources.
Community members can volunteer, attend project events, provide input on project design, or help spread the word locally. Opportunities vary by project and are detailed on each project page.
